The Alliance gives financial support to intermediary NGOs or ‘Linking Organisations’ working to increase access to HIV and health programmes. These organisations then provide grants to local community-based and faith-based organisations.

If you are seeking funding please first check to see if there is an Alliance linking organisation in your country. If there is, you should contact them directly.

Joining the Alliance

The Alliance does not encourage unsolicited applications from organisations wishing to join. The only region where we are currently seeking new partners is in Southern Africa (2014). Please look out for local announcements.

For other regions/countries, if there is an Alliance partner already working in your country you can contact them to find out more about the Alliance’s work. Click here to view the Alliance’s current partners in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean and find their contact details.

If there is no Alliance partner in your country, then you may find the Aidsmap database useful. It lists contact details of other organisations working on HIV and AIDS and allows you to search by country.
